After being active on the hip hop circuit for the past 6 years, Blue Mountains born ‘n raised El’ Jistos just released his first album in collaboration with producer Illumes.
21 year old El’ Jistos was previously in the rap crew A Blank Canvas, who supported names such as Thudamentals, The Tounge, Spit Syndicate, Rappaport, Hermitude, Urthboy, Dialectrix, and Joe New. As a solo act El’ Jistos has supported Citizen Kay, P.H.fat, True Vibenation, Tornts, Yum Yum, Nhostic/DJ RileyJM, Defron, and Mr. Ruckman. El’ Jistos has also recently headlined two successful album launches in Sydney and the Blue Mountains.
El’ Jistos’s verbal and thematic form has been described as “direct, assertive, and ballsy” and defines his style as the “Simple communication of complex subject matter”

DJ Cost started djing close to ten years ago and has been a dedicated student to the art of turntablism ever since. Heavily involved in the local hip hop scene for years. Dj for P.Smurf and Cooking with Caustic and tour Dj for a number of acts including Joe New & Ozi Batla. Dj Cost has recorded studio cuts for a number of artists including Thundamentals and Daily Meds. He earned second place in his first Dj battle at the 2013 NSW DMC Competition & was runner up at the 2014 Wax Wars Battle

Platterpush is a Hip Hop and Reggae Producer/DJ who has been touring and releasing albums for over ten years.
Turntablism is an integral aspect of his DJ’ing style particularly when performing his original music. Renowned for playing classic ‘Boom Bap’ hip hop Platterpush continues to also play heavy hitting Jamaican reggae 45’s.
‘Down Under Beats Crew’ and ‘Ill Theory’ are both groups that Platterpush has founded, produced for and toured with extensively.
Platterpush’s music has received high rotation on Triple J and he has produced music for and featured on albums by many of Australia’s top Hip Hop artists including Thundementals, Lotek, P Smurf, Down Under Beats Crew, Daily Meds, Scott Burns, Herb, Grouce and Immune.
Platterpush has played alongside and supported such high profile artists as De La Soul, Lord Finesse, Tim Dog, Bliss n Eso, Thundamentals, Hermitude and Def Wish Cast.

Codeks has been Dj’ing and producing Hip Hop since 1998 and was an influential artist in the Blue Mountains Hip Hop scene of the Early 2000’s.
Codeks has a close working relationship with Brother and co producer - Platterpush and they are the founding members of Down Under Beats Crew (D.U.B). D.U.B were triple j unearthed winners in 2003 and went on to release two well received albums: Hiphoperation (2004) Under Raps (2008).
Codeks is known for a sample laden ‘boom bap’ style of production, heavily influenced by the ‘Golden era’ of hip hop from the early 90’s. Codeks has produced for artists such as Thundamentals, Lotek, Immune, Scott Burns, P Smurf and performed alongside international acts such as De La Soul, Lord Finesse, Mystro, Tim Dog, Dj Revolution and Australian Hip Hop acts such as Def Wish Cast, Bliss n Eso, Thundamentals, Hermitude, Pegz, Muph n Plutonic.
