Coin Banks
Perth emcee, Coin Banks, topped off an unparalleled 2014 with the release of his highly-anticipated, ‘Tails’ EP, led by its ecstatic new single “Someone”. The sequel and spiritual counterpart to his acclaimed ‘Heads’ EP (released in March 2014), ‘Tails’ further embodies the style which is quickly establishing Banks as one of hip-hop’s most exciting new voices: fusing the classic with the contemporary to forge a signature sound which proves as effective as it seems effortless.

Cutting his teeth in collectives including Letters To The Sun and UPNUP, Coin Banks first surfaced on most radars in late-2013, with the release of his debut solo bone-rattling single, “Hatches”– a collaboration with rising star producer, Ta-ku. With its bass-heavy swagger and assured delivery, the track would start the ripples that would soon transform to waves when follow-up single, “Think Of You”earning High Rotation on Triple J falling in the top 100 most played songs on the station, and the most played song on Triple J Unearthed.

Ivan Ooze
It was a heady 2014 for Melbourne indie rapper IVAN OOZE as he was literally been catapulted into the spotlight. With an EP scheduled to drop in August IVAN OOZE decided he would release a freestyle video every Friday in the lead up to its release, which turned him into a viral hip hop sensation. With his fascination for rhyming and a signature super-fast flow, in less than a few weeks IVAN OOZE (Ben Townsend) began experiencing the support and attention that takes artists lifetimes to achieve and he soon had his legions of fans waiting with baited breath for the release of his first EP Ringwood Rich.

Borrowing his alias from his favourite Mighty Morphin Power Rangers villain and part of the new breed of hip hop music that is taking the country by storm, IVAN OOZE is pushing the boundaries and connecting with his audience. His previous two singles On & On and Trippin' have seen him cement his social media hype into legitimate industry buzz, achieving support from more than his fair share of media and other figures.

Corner Store Superheroes
Coming from the east side of Sydney, Corner Store Superheroes is the collaborative effort of Sydney singer/producer Kid Fiction and rapper Eddy Bills. With fast, razor sharp raps, and melodic, Jamaican influenced future beats production, CORNER STORE SUPERHEROES bring a fresh new approach to the local Hip Hop scene.

Off the back of their first single “Balloon” in August 2014 they became the first Hip Hop act to claim FBI Radio’s Artist Of The Week, since then they’ve been busy working on an EP due early June.

ALEXI
Alexi has a big personality for a young man. The outspoken 20 year old rapper from Bondi delivers a blend of relevant social commentary and more personal introspective raps over forward thinking, post 2000's type beats, with the occasional throwback to more traditional 90's style production. Under a different moniker Alexi has received air play on FBi and Triple J Unearthed radio as well as supporting the likes of Chance Waters, Daily Meds and Citizen Kay. Alexi's forthcoming mixtape 'Curly Ting' is due for release late 2015.
