On their latest release, D’Opus forms a produc9on landscape that treads between familiar frequencies and specula9ve horizons. Rich bass, jarring and soA synthesisers alike, nods to a history sampling with a 9ghter focus on live instrumenta9on form the core of the songs. Amidst the interplay, there’s plenty of space for a story to be told.
This is where Roshambo completes the message, varying his delivery and tone in the same ebbs and flows as the lyrics in his storytelling. Roshambo has matured, exploring subjects such as the 9ring sleeplessness that comes with being a father, the numbness and acceptance of loss, and the complica9ons of crea9vity.
