The title is a clever word play on the fact that Newtown has always been the spiritual if not physical home of all the members of the Big Village crew while also letting you know what will be cranked to the max while resident deejays Migz and the 26th Letter are delivering to you those future sounds of everything from Boom Bap, Dub, G-Funk, Soul to Future Beat. Blending in bass heavy, soulfully conscious modern Hip Hop, while retaining the up-beat positive ethos of the old school.
Hosted by two of the best freestyle emcees in the game, Rapaport and P-Smurf, you can be sure the night will be filled with unexpected lyrical dopeness. 

Each night features one act from the BV roster and expended family.  This month the Big Village monthly Hip Hop marathon Home Bass, continues in February with one of the country's finest young MC's!! Dialect has been crowned an underground king amongst the AUS curcuit, most well known for his part in the Adelaide duo Dialect & Despair. He will be hitting Home Bass hard this February with a live performance showcasing work both new and old, while also jumping on the decks after to spin a set of strictly 45 vinyls from his collection.

To add to the line up we have Sydney legend Hyjak ft. Big Hustle playing tunes off his recently released LP 'Stage Diving With No Crowd'. Hyjak has been in the game since the age of 16, making his name in the battle curcuit then quickly taking over with his crew Hyjak & Torcha. For the last 5 years he has been consistently releasing new solo material and keeping his name high up in the league of legends. Joining him on the deks we have DJ Skae, the businessman, and our Big Village resident DJ 26th Letter.
