What up fam! 

On The 22nd of January I will be showcasing the first instalment of Beat Street. As many of you know hip hop in Wollongong is scarce. But I am trying to change that with a regular occurring event with local artists. 

I have rounded up some artists from the Illawarra region as well as Sydney and the blue mountains. 

MERZBOY:

CHARBEL: 
local Shellharbour MC Charbel has a smooth soulful sound with hard hitting drums and punchy lyrics. 
Charbel is one young Mc known to hold it down and has a few guest appearances in his set. Be sure to catch this.

Local to the Illawarra hip hop scene, young Scoobie has been kicking up dust in 2016 dropping a few mixtapes. A high energy and lyrical flow is defiantly an act you do not want to miss. Only early days for this young lad.

MIGHTY ASH:
Hailing from mighty Ashfield, Sydney. Mighty Ash is sure to take you back to the NYC jams in the park with his old school style. True hip hop in its purest form.

IVY MICS:
A hip hop trio, from the mountain blue, includes 3 MCS and may I mention one of those mcs will be making all the fresh beats live on the MPC. This set is a fun heavy and raw hip hop sound known to get that head of yours bopping.
