O-ii-shi! a Hip Hop jam! Established in 1997 in Sydney. This event started off showcasing local dance crews, hotshot DJs, re occuring Pacifc Rim tours featuring international DJs such as all The Beat Junkies , DJ Revolution and many, many more. DJs Kavi-R and Naiki set the pace over the years.
Musical styles: party Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Boogie, Bossa Nova, Reggae, Dancehall, Jazz Funk and then some. We strive to bring like minded music lovers together in a friendly, dancefloor orientated party vibe! This is another O-ii-shi!Sure Shot event, FREE ENTRY!!!
This year, as part of our 20th anniversary series, we've got the legendary DJ and producer Paul Nice on the Sure Shot label from Poughkeepsie, New York returning with a special headline set. Paul Nice's remixes and mixes are world class.
