Sunday Walls returns to The Lord Gladstone Hotel in 2016 for the “Big Village Takeover”. Each month we will be combining our labels finest DJ’s spinning non stop classic Hip Hop , with a selection of the countries top graffiti artists, to bring you a sun soaked Sunday Jam filled with live painting, fresh beats, special guests, good vibes and great atmosphere.
To kick off the new Big Village residency we have Roleo (Daily Meds/Future Face 94.5) mixing in his signature electronic based instrumental Hip Hop. 26th Letter (Soul Benefits/The Edge 96.1) bringing you a fresh mix of the classics you’ve grown to love and the modern bangers you cant stop playing. DJ Cost (P.Smurf/Cooking With Caustic), one of Australias number one scratch DJ’s will be cutting sick on the decks over some straight up 90’s Boom Bap. And long time BV affiliate DJ Migz will be breaking out his extensive vinyl collection to take us on a trip down memory lane, mixing in some Hip Hop, Dub and heavy bass.
Holding down the walls we have the amazingly talented DCA representitives Days, Desta, Chez and Jesta. They will be presenting an afternoon of live graffiti inside the courtyard and back lane of The Gladstone.
Held on the second Sunday of each month at the recently renovated Lord Gladstone Hotel in Chippendale, just 5 minutes walk from Central Station, Sunday Walls is the perfect way to spend this sweltering Sydney summer. FREE ENTRY - 2pm-10pm
