Big Village presents the Older Growth LP launch for one of Sydneys old school legends Mr Clean. Mr Clean established his underground moniker in the late 90's, is no stranger to some of the biggest names in the Sydney Hip Hop scene today. Supported by Mic Pompei & Ted Addic, Ivy Mics & Mumbles, with DJ Manaik & 26th Letter spinning bass heavy tunes throughout the night.

Mr Clean possesses the kind of intensity and occasional recklessness that makes him more interesting than the bulk of locals circulating now, Clean maintains a wrecking ball mode with occasional twists into moments of psycodelic delirium, you could call it that ‘angry man rap’ with some funk on top
He has guested on some releases, including Celcius’s 1st album, Chasm’s last album “This is how we never Die” alongside with Detroit native Phat Kat & also a track on Katalyst’s last album “Deep Impressions” which led him to perform at national tours and festivals such a Good Vibes & Days Like This, track “Black Dragon” which was hand picked for prime time play by Richard Kingsmill, Triple J’s head honcho.

Without releasing an album, riding off his 1st video ‘Hard Yak” Clean was able to get the attention of local promoters for international supports acts for artists like Masta Ace, R.A. the Rugged Man & Celph Titled all which have been well received mustering more crowd reaction than the average undercard.

Hard work & dedication (No Mayweather, More Manny), was needed to bring this project to light, with Producers on deck such as Colourd Noyz, Katalyst (Quakers), P-Money, Beat Butcha & Sandro (Ozi Battler) saying better late than never is a mediocre description of ones fruition even with being 3 years late the timing couldn’t be any better.
