Help keep Sydney ALIVE. A musical city- full of LIFE.... not a dull nanny state where everyone gets tucked into bed by 10pm.
It's not just about protesting "not being able to get a beer." The world is a fucked up place and it's the little things like going out at night to see a live band or hang out with friends that make the city livable. Taking that away by giving us a curfew is just another method of control of all citizens. And yet who is exempt- casinos and other moneymakers! Let's not stand by and take it but get out and fight facist governments!
This is not just about them locking us out, or taking the alcohol away. It's about freedom. It's about Sydney being the diverse, vibrant, colourful and musical city that we want it to be. They can't silence us, and they can't keep us out of the streets.
Sick of politicians telling you when you can drink, when you can eat, and when you need to go home to bed? This protest is about more than just lock out laws... it's about the loss of jobs, bars, & live music venues that comes with it. Name another major city in the world that you cannot buy a bottle of wine after 10pm! Let's keep Sydney nightlife alive! Just cause we stay up late doesn't mean we're violent. Focus on the real problems and come up with real solutions.
